Safety Rules

  • Do NOT put your fingers, face or body on or in the netting.

  • Bat at your own risk

  • Always wear a helmet when using the batting cages

  • Only one person in the cage at a time

  • Keep the door closed while batting

  • Never climb on or hang from the cage

  • Swing the bat exclusively inside the cage

  • Never stand in front of the pitching machine or on home plate

  • Watch out for stray balls at your feet

  • Don’t steal baseballs or tokens

  • No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol is permitted to use the batting cages

  • Don’t bring food or drink into the cage.

  • No gum or chewing tobacco inside the cage

  • Report all accidents immediately

  • Watch for balls rolling under feet

  • No switch hitting during the game

  • If machines are pitching out of the strike zone, immediately alert the attendant.

  • No practice swings outside of cages.

  • Pitching machine throws both balls and strikes, be alert at all times

  • No one under the age of 6 permitted to use batting cages

  • Batters under the age of 10 MUST be supervised by an adult

  • Be safe and alert, don’t fool around inside the batting cages.

  • Batters must wear shoes

  • No double hitting the balls

  • Watch out for balls from other batters
